Lakes

Lakes are areas of water that are in the ground and have land surrounding them. The most popular in the world are Lake Baikal,  Lough Neagh, Caspian Sea, and  Lake Tanganyika. Lakes can be made out of fresh water or salt water. The most famous is the Great Salt Lake in Utah, U.S.A. Lakes are everywhere in the world. They are places to cool off at and swim. You can even tube or do water sports there. Lakes are beautiful and are just amazing.
